Mr. Kerkman has litigated several actions involving web site disputes and has lectured on cyber law issues. Those representations included trade secret and copyright issues.

   In one case, the web site developer failed to perform. Mr. Kerkman's client brought an action seeking to recover control of the web site, data collected and a refund of fees paid. A favorable settlement was reached within two months of the action being filed.

   In another case, Mr. Kerkman's client was a web site developer. It developed a web site which its client stole. After a preliminary injunction hearing in federal court, a settlement was reached.
